For Schools

When I ask children and young people about the causes of their anxiety, 'school' is often the first response. Most educational institutions are built on traditional approaches to learning, behaviour and communication, and limited funding further hampers their ability to support neurodevelopmental differences.
I work with schools to deepen their understanding of neurodiversity and help staff feel confident in identifying and supporting pupils with additional needs. I provide training on sensory differences, transitions and unstructured times, challenging behaviour, communication and social differences, and masking, including what it is and why it happens.
My approach is practical, collaborative and focused on improving support and outcomes for neurodivergent pupils by finding solutions that work for everyone.

How can I support your school to become neuroinclusive?
Support will be customised to meet your school's specific needs and can include staff workshops, training sessions, one-on-one discussions, or guidance on effective strategies and approaches. This may cover topics such as:
🌿Understanding neurodiversity and how symptoms can present within the school setting.
🌿ADHD and Autism symptoms and traits
🌿Emotion-coaching techniques
🌿Supporting staff with individual pupils, developing pupil passports or providing tailored emotional support.
🌿Working with pupils to raise neurodiversity awareness and foster a whole-school approach.
